Sidecar is North Oakland’s independent coffee shop located right next to our big sibling, Butterjoint. We brew coffee and espresso with Cafetano beans. Our food menu includes ready-made breakfast sandwiches, breakfast pastries, savory hand pies, cakes, and pies made in the bakery next door. We also have a carefully curated selection of six packs to go from local and independent breweries.

We are located in the space formerly known as Pie For Breakfast. (That menu is served next door at Butterjoint for Sunday brunch). Now we’re a coffee shop. Whether you’re just passing through on your way to something else and need something quick, or taking your time to catch up with a friend in our lovely space, we are here for you!
